Greetings,
Firstly to wish His Imperial Majesty George II a delightful and especially joyful birthday.
And to apologise for my long outstanding absence from the forum. It is my hope to get more involved with the Empire in the New Year, hopefully on a more active level (with of course the blessing and support of HIM George).
I have most recently been working as the 'Poet Laureate' of The Dominion of British West Florida, and been active in the art-world together with Veterans Affairs here in the USA.
I just wondered if the Empire of Atlantium had considered building diplomatic relations with the Dominion of British West Florida?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

David.

Hello David. Thanks for your message, and birthday greeting. The current Imperial Administration's policy concerning the establishment of bilateral relations with other sovereign states is outlined here: www.atlantium.org/externalaffairs.htmlThis policy specifically precludes formal contact with or acknowledgement of "micronations". Oridinary citizens may involve themselves with hobbyist "micronations" if they wish. However, members of the Imperial Administration are required to formally disassociate themselves with any and all "micronations" prior to being confirmed in their posts.

Your Imperial Majesty, The Dominion of British West Florida and it's present governor and government do not regard themselves as a mere micronation but an unrecognized sovereign nation. They are currently seeking status as a 'commonwealth' dominion of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. I have included a link here for more information, for your pleasure and perusal. I do not know at this point where the DBWF stands in the view of the Empire of Atlantium; whether diplomatic affairs might be established or rejected? dbwf.net/FAQ/index.htmlwith sincere regards David.

David,
We have been aware of Bo Register and his project for several years.
When British West Florida achieves membership of either the United Nations Organisation or the Unrecognised Nations and Peoples Organisation, the Imperial Administration will be happy to give consideraton to the possibility of establishing a direct bilateral relationship.
Until then Mr Register's project falls outside the scope of our current policy.
