Several days ago I received my copy of the new guide to "micronations" published by Lonely Planet. The Atlantium entry in this informative and entertaining book extends to a number of pages, and does a good job of illustrating the important differences between ourselves and the subjects of most of the other entries. Indeed, Atlantium comes off sounding like an island of sanity in the midst of an ocean of complete raving lunatics. It's likely I'll be supporting the release with a number of press and TV interviews in coming weeks; details will be advised as they come to hand. Those wishing to order a copy of the book can do so through Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/1741047307/ref=sr_11_1/102-3722034-8164109?ie=UTF8.

One thought: Why not make these pages available on the website as a .pdf file? I don't think it would violate any copyright laws.
(And my apologies if this has been done and I just haven't found it on the site yet.)

Unfortunately due to the binding, the only way it would be possible to scan the pages is if they were first removed entirely from the book - and I don't want to ruin my copy.
If I can obtain a free promo from Lonely Planet further down the track I may consider doing this.

Backpackers and travellers in general... there has certainly been an increase in tourist visits to Idalia (our Sydney office) since publication; the fact that Idalia is located in the middle of Sydney's main backpacker/tourist hotel district definitely helps.
