Your Imperial Magesty,
I think we need a kind of initiative to get active again. I firmly believe that you should give Atlantium citizens an active role. And this is possible through elections.
To my mind it is high time you proclaimed General Election. That would unite Atlantium citizens and give them the opportunity to interact with the Atlantium state (something that is not happening at the moment...)
Yours,
Tulitrlh Grort

I completely agree, when I tell people about Atlantium they often ask "As a citizen what do you get to do?" I am forced to tell them that we don't really do anything. Were we to have elections it would certainly give an air of legitimacy as well as get those citizens who lost interest re-stimulated.
Sincerely,
Gabe Fribley

These comments are misplaced; people should not mistake Atlantium for some sort of web-based simulation that exists for the entertainment of bored websurfers. Low participation levels on this message board do not translate into a general lack of activity.
In fact the Imperial Administration is having a particularly active and productive year, issuing decrees and policy statements on issues of international significance, initiating and awarding new Imperial Honours, supporting various high profile public events in India, Brazil, Australia and China and receiving more high profile press coverage than ever before - as a cursory review of Vox Imperium and our news pages will show.
Those wishing to contribute to our growth, and who posess sufficient skill and maturity are more than welcome to apply to join the Imperial Administration.

Clearly. The citizenship is not given to do something in particular, as any other citizenship you may have does not state anything about your activities:)

I think citizens should be more interested in what they can do for their country rather than organising a coup. This fledgling country would enjoy all positions filled and active positive people working together.

My thoughts exactly. People who join Atlantium expecting "something" to happen - but who don't contribute anything themselves are doing themselves and their fellow citizens a disservice.

Sire,
Always people forget the following basic rules - What can I do for Atlantium and not what can Atlantium do for me.
Sincerely
Jean-Claude

Your Majesty,
I wonder if you could explain how one goes about submitting a request to join the Imperial Administration.
Respectfully,
Doctor

Greetings and Salutations,
In my experience nothing occurs without an individual or a group putting an idea into practise and charting/navigating it towards an ultimate purpose. This is the core nature of action; being pro-active is the first subject on the agenda of change and development. One cannot simply complain that 'nothing is happening.'
The seriousness with which any citizen takes their role within the Empire of Atlantium is reflected in the realisable potential in the real world. Just because the 'United Nations' does not recognize the validity of Atlantium as an established governed territory does not equate that we should not believe in ourselves, and our capacity to influence the world around us for the common good of humanity, the environment, global economy, international politics and other topics of world peace and harmony.
As I see it, Atlantium offers more realistic opportunities to employ individual skills within a political context than any orthodox system. It is neither fantasy nor a game, but a challenge for deepest reflection, positive employment and dynamic action.
With regards
David Drew
